Detail●"Mameitagin" was a silver coin circulated during the Edo period (1601-1865).

This Tenpo Mameitagin was minted for 21 years (1837-1858). There are plenty of design variations exit to this coin so collectors have more opportunity to find “the one” you love.

Double-sided Daikoku in this era were usually minted around 3-8 grams, and it is extremely rare if it over 10 grams. When the Mameitagin sized over 10g normally refers to “Large Type” and it is rarely seen in the market especially in great presentation!
